Last updated: April 1, 2026

glint does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Your privacy is completely protected.

Who we are

glint is a free teen mental health app built by Giselle Conde. Our website is getglint.org and you can reach us at hello@getglint.org.

What data we collect

We collect no personal data whatsoever. glint is designed with your privacy as the top priority.

Specifically:

— Journal entries are stored only on your device using AsyncStorage. They never leave your phone.
— We do not have user accounts or logins.
— We do not collect your name, email, age, location, or any identifying information.
— We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
— We do not serve ads.
— We do not share any data with third parties.

Third-party services

The AI Companion feature uses an external AI service to generate responses. Messages sent to the companion are processed to generate a reply and are not stored or used for any other purpose.

The Sounds screen links to Spotify and YouTube. Clicking those links opens those apps, which have their own privacy policies.

Children's privacy

glint is designed for teens aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including minors. Because we collect no data at all, there is nothing to protect beyond what is already on your device.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how glint works in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and the date above. We will never introduce data collection without being transparent about it.
